Our Vision
Guidance Dance Company is a Christian dance
ministry comprised of dancers ages seven to eighteen.
Our vision
is to help young Christians explore dance as a form of worship and to teach them
to use dance
as an evangelical ministry. We believe that God calls us to worship
Him in all we do -
including dancing.

For a
dancer, dance is not just a simple past time, but instead a way of life. It
becomes the person you are, and long to be. It’s the thing that consumes
your soul. It’s the place you feel at peace. But what makes this passion
real? It’s not the stage or the audience in its surroundings, but the
feeling you have when all is surrendered. When your body, mind, and Spirit
have given it all to God. When all your faith is released to Him. No worries
to have, no rejection to feel. Only the knowledge that every move, and every
breath is an act of worship for Him. It’s your past, present, and future in
His hands to hold. It’s the feeling and thought that you’re dancing in the
spirit right in his very presence. Not a care of reality; just the desire to
please and serve Him. It’s the burning inside that keeps you longing for
more. Always thirsty. He is your satisfaction. The water you need and can’t
live without. Dance is a way of life, but God is the oxygen that keeps you
alive.

1 Corinthians 6:19-20
You must know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you -
the Spirit you have received from God. You are not your own. You have been
purchased, and at a price. So glorify God with your body.
