Our Vision

Guidance Dance Company is a Christian dance ministry comprised of dancers ages six to twenty-one.

Our vision is to help young Christians explore dance as a form of worship and to teach them to use dance

as an evangelical ministry.  We believe that God calls us to worship Him in all we do - including dancing.

Romans 12:1

I urge you, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices,

holy and pleasing to God - this is your spiritual act of worship. (NIV)

Romans 6:13

Give yourselves completely to God since you have been given new life.

And use your body as a tool to do what is right for the glory of God. (NLT)

Deuteronomy 10:12

What do you think God expects from you? Just this: live in his presence in

holy reverence, follow the road he sets out for you, love him, serve God,

your God with everything you have in you. (MSG)

1 Corinthians 6:19-20

You must know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you -

the Spirit you have received from God. You are not your own. You have been

purchased, and at a price. So glorify God with your body. (NASB)
